Why Battery Health Matters
The high-voltage battery is the heart of any electric car. Over time, all batteries lose a small amount of capacity. Knowing exactly how healthy the battery is gives you confidence in the vehicle’s range, performance, and long-term value.
That’s why we carry out a full Battery State of Health (SoH) test on every electric vehicle before it joins our stock.
How Our Battery Testing Works
We use professional diagnostic equipment that connects directly to the vehicle’s OBD port. This allows us to read detailed data from the car’s own Battery Management System.
Our test analyses key information including:
- Actual battery capacity compared to when new
- Individual cell voltages and balance
- Temperature consistency across the battery pack
- Charge and discharge history
- Overall battery efficiency
The result is a clear, accurate State of Health percentage — for example, 96.8%. This tells you exactly what remaining capacity the battery has.
